This 1970s architecturally designed home was lacking a cohesive and accessible low maintenance indoor/outdoor living space. It also required a creative redesign of the downstairs to add a full bathroom, legalise the second bedroom and maintain the laundry.
The home was already an architectural beauty, however, the small rear study felt disconnected. The new extension resolved this and seamlessly extended the home. The rear yard was completely excavated to install retaining walls which allowed for a large partially covered outdoor living space.
CCI worked with the clients to create a completely new configuration downstairs, including a full bathroom, laundry and two bedrooms. The clients were delighted with the result.
